Maple Pecan Croissant Rolls: A Marshmallow Twist

  • 12 pieces croissant rolls store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll each croissant dough piece and place a few marshmallows and a sprinkle of pecans at the wider end.
  • Roll up the croissants, starting from the wide end, and place them seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush each rolled croissant with melted butter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Mix powdered sugar and maple syrup together to form a glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the warm croissants before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, try toasting the pecans before using. These croissants are best enjoyed warm, but can be reheated in the oven.
