Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Sauté celery and onion until soft.
In a large bowl, combine crumbled cornbread, sautéed vegetables, chicken broth, and sage. Mix gently until well combined.
Transfer mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding cooked sausage or bacon bits.
