Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine crumbled cornbread with chicken broth and let it sit for a few minutes to absorb the liquid.
In a skillet over medium heat, sauté celery and onion in melted butter until soft. Add to the cornbread mixture.
Stir in sage, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and crisp.
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can add cooked crumbled sausage or chopped pecans to the dressing before baking.
