Lemon Trifle

A bright and refreshing lemon trifle, perfect for a light dessert. Layers of sponge cake, lemon curd, and whipped cream create a delightful treat.

  • 1 box Sponge cake Cut into cubes
  • 16 ounce Lemon curd
  • 2 cup Heavy cream Whipped
  • 0.25 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon zest For garnish

Preparation Steps

  • In a large trifle bowl, layer sponge cake cubes, followed by a layer of lemon curd.
  • In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  • Spread a layer of whipped cream over the lemon curd.
  • Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of whipped cream.
  • Garnish with lemon zest and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
