  • 2 lbs chicken breasts or thighs cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 4 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning divided
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup dry white wine such as Sauvignon Blanc
  • 0.25 cup lemon juice
  • 1 lemon zest from 1 lemon
  • 1.5 cups chicken stock
  • 4 cups half-and-half
  • 1 pound dry linguine pasta
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese plus more for serving
  • 2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Preparation Steps

  • In a bowl, toss the chicken with olive oil and 2 tablespoons of lemon pepper seasoning until evenly coated.
  • Heat a deep skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side. Add butter in the last minute to glaze the chicken.
  • Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. Add more butter, then sauté garlic for 1 minute till fragrant.
  • Pour wine into the skillet, reduce slightly, and stir in lemon juice, zest, chicken stock, half-and-half, and remaining spices.
  • Add linguine to the sauce, cook until al dente, stirring frequently. Stir in Parmesan and serve topped with chicken.

Notes

Ensure to not overcrowd the chicken during cooking. For a creamier sauce, adjust the amount of half-and-half as needed.
