LEMON MOUSSE

This light and fluffy lemon mousse is the perfect refreshing dessert for any occasion.

  • 1.5 cups lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream chilled
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation Steps

  • In a saucepan, mix lemon juice and sugar over low heat until the sugar dissolves.
  • Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  • Whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  • Fold the chilled lemon mixture into the whipped cream and serve.

Notes

For a stronger lemon flavor, add some lemon zest on top before serving.
