Lemon Cream Cheese Squares

A delightful mix of lemon and cream cheese in a simple square format.

  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs use finely ground
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cups sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tbsp lemon zest grated

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until well combined.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom of an 8x8 inch baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  • Add lemon juice and zest to the cream cheese mixture, and continue to mix until combined.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is set.
  • Let cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes

Refrigerate the squares before serving for best texture.
