  • 2 cups fresh blueberries can substitute with frozen
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Spread the blueberries evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the sugar over the blueberries, then drizzle the lemon juice over the top.
  • Spread the lemon cake mix evenly over the blueberries and sugar.
  • Place dollops of cream cheese over the cake mix, then pour the melted butter over the top.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Notes

For a more intense lemon flavor, add additional lemon zest to the cake mix.
