Jalapeno Cheddar Biscuits

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh jalapeno seeded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the cheddar cheese and jalapenos to the dry ingredients and stir to combine.
  • Pour in the milk and melted butter, and stir until a dough forms.
  • Drop large spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These biscuits are best served warm and can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
