Instructions
Preparation Steps
Place the beef chuck roast in a slow cooker.
Sprinkle the Italian dressing mix over the roast.
Add the pepperoncini peppers and beef broth to the slow cooker.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is very tender and easily shredded.
Shred the beef with two forks.
Serve the shredded beef on crusty rolls with some of the cooking liquid.
Notes
Optional additions: provolone cheese, giardiniera.
