Evenly distribute cookie dough onto one of the rolled-out sheets, leaving a slight border along the edges.
Place the second puff pastry sheet atop the first, pressing gently to adhere.
Cut the layered pastry into 18 equal strips. Roll each strip into a loose spiral and place into the prepared muffin pan.
Brush the tops with the egg wash. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown, tenting with aluminum foil if necessary to prevent over-browning.
