Preparation Steps
Preheat oven according to frozen fries package directions for optional side.
In a small bowl, combine ketchup and mustard. Set aside.
Cook the Burgers
Heat the skillet over medium-high heat and lightly brush with vegetable oil.
Divide beef into 4 portions, form loose balls, and smash on the skillet to 5-inch patties.
Season patties with seasoned salt and pepper, cook for 3-4 minutes until crispy.
Flip, season again, and cook 1-2 more minutes. Add cheese slices and melt.
Toast the Buns
Reduce heat to medium. Brush bun interiors with butter and toast in skillet until golden.
Assemble the Burgers
Place cheeseburger on each bottom bun, top with bacon strips.
Layer lettuce, pickles, and onion. Spread ketchup-mustard on top bun and place on burger.
Serve
Serve immediately with your favorite drink and hot french fries.
Notes
This burger pairs well with coleslaw or your favorite dipping sauces for the fries.
