  • 3 lbs chicken breast cut into 2-inch cubes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
  • 12 pieces wooden skewers soaked in water

Chili Lime Marinade

  • 1 tablespoon lime zest
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Soak the wooden skewers in water for at least 20 minutes to prevent burning during cooking.
  • In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the Chili Lime Marinade. Mix well and set aside.
  • Place the cubed chicken in a large bag or bowl. Add the olive oil and half of the marinade. Toss until the chicken is coated well. Marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the soaked skewers.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Cook the skewers for 6-8 minutes on each side, basting with the remaining marinade as they cook, until the chicken is fully cooked.
  • Remove the skewers from the grill, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve immediately with additional lime wedges if desired.

Notes
