  • 1 cup barbecue sauce choose your favorite spicy brand
  • 4 large flour tortillas or use whole wheat
  • 1 medium avocado mashed
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small red onion finely sliced
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Preparation Steps

  • In a medium bowl, mix the shredded chicken with the barbecue sauce until well coated.
  • Lay a tortilla flat and spread a quarter of the mashed avocado over the surface.
  • Add a layer of shredded lettuce on top of the avocado spread.
  • Spoon the chicken mixture evenly over the lettuce, then sprinkle with cheddar cheese and red onion slices.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll tightly. Slice in half and serve warm.
