Preparation Steps

  • Heat treat the cake mix in the microwave until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F, then let cool.
  • Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Mix cream cheese and cinnamon until light and fluffy.
  • Add cooled cake mix and whiskey to the cream cheese mixture, blending thoroughly.
  • Cover and chill the mixture in the refrigerator to firm up.
  • Scoop and shape mixture into 1-inch balls.
  • Melt the almond bark and dip each ball into the coating, then garnish with a pinch of cinnamon.
