Preparation Steps
Melt 6 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
Add halved cherry tomatoes and coat them with garlic butter. Reduce heat, cover, and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Pour in white wine and vegetable broth, add red pepper flakes, then bring to a simmer. Cook until tomatoes are soft and burst.
Boil the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, reserving one cup of pasta water before draining.
Stir in the remaining butter into the sauce, adjust seasoning if necessary.
Combine the drained pasta with the tomato sauce in the skillet. Use reserved pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
Mix in half of the Parmesan cheese until combined, serve the pasta garnished with fresh basil and remaining cheese.
