Preparation Steps

  • Cut chicken thighs into even-sized pieces and season with herb seasoning mix.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken pieces until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  • Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, combine heavy cream, chicken broth, ranch dressing mix, and parmesan cheese.
  • Stir the sauce mixture until it begins to simmer and thicken about 5 minutes.
  • Return chicken to the skillet, covering them with the sauce. Reduce heat and let simmer for additional 10-15 minutes.
  • Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F before removing from heat.
  • Garnish with bacon, cheddar cheese, and parsley before serving, if desired.

Notes

For a more colorful dish, add vegetables such as bell peppers or peas during the simmering step.
