  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry thawed overnight in the refrigerator
  • 8 ounces Brie cheese cut into 24 cubes
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce prepared
  • 0.5 cup pecans chopped
  • 0.75 teaspoon flaky sea salt such as Maldon
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary cut into 24 small sprigs

Preparation Steps

  • Cut the Brie into 24 equal cubes and freeze for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease the muffin tins.
  • Roll out each puff pastry sheet to a 10x14 inch rectangle and cut into 12 squares. Place each square into the muffin tin and prick the bottom with a fork.
  • Fill each pastry with a cube of frozen Brie, spoonful of cranberry sauce, and a sprinkle of salt and pecans. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Let cool slightly and garnish with rosemary before serving.

Notes

Freezing the Brie briefly helps maintain its shape during baking. Feel free to experiment with different nuts or herbs for unique flavors.
