Preparation Steps

  • Prepare the marinade by mixing honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and black pepper in a medium bowl.
  • Place the chicken thighs in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage gently to coat the chicken evenly.
  • Refrigerate the chicken in the marinade for at least 2 hours, or overnight for even better flavor.
  • Preheat your grill to medium heat. Clean and oil the grill grates slightly to avoid sticking.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing the excess to drip off. Dispose of the used marinade.
