1.5lbboneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
3tablespoonsoy sauce
2tablespoonhoney
3clovegarlic, minced
1tablespoonfresh ginger, grated
1tablespooncornstarch
2tablespoonwater
2tablespoonvegetable oil
1teaspoonsesame oiloptional
2green onionslicedfor garnish

Preparation Steps
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, cornstarch, and water until smooth. Set aside.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides, about 6-7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium. Pour the prepared sauce into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce. Continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes until chicken is cooked through and sauce has thickened further.
Stir in sesame oil if using. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
