  • 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips melted
  • 0.5 teaspoon vegetable oil

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine the powdered sugar, butter, and peppermint extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Form the mixture into small 1-inch patties and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate until set.
  • Melt the chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a microwave or double boiler. Stir until smooth.
  • Dip each peppermint patty into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Return to the parchment paper.
  • Refrigerate the patties until the chocolate is set.

Store the peppermint patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
