Instructions
Preparation Steps
Cut and flatten chicken breasts to even thickness. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Dredge in flour and shake off excess.
Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a pan. Sear chicken on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add white wine to deglaze. Cook until reduced by half. Stir in minced garlic and butter.
Gradually add chicken stock, heavy cream, and honey. Stir in the sauces seasonings, and sun-dried tomatoes. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Lower heat, then add cream cheese and Parmesan. Stir until the sauce is creamy. Return chicken to pan, spoon sauce over top.
Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is heated through. Serve garnished with fresh basil.
Notes
Serve with pasta or rice for a complete meal. For a non-alcoholic version, replace wine with additional chicken stock.
