Instructions
Preparation Steps
Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken strips with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Cook chicken in the skillet for about 6-8 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add orzo and cook for 2 minutes.
Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook until orzo is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and lemon zest. Mix until creamy.
Return chicken to the skillet, drizzle with lemon juice, sprinkle with parsley, and serve hot.
