Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil, and oregano.
Dredge the chicken slices in olive oil, then in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
Place the chicken on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
Meanwhile, cook the linguine pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente.
In a large skillet, sauté the garlic in the remaining olive oil over medium heat until fragrant.
Add heavy cream and diced tomatoes to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and stir occasionally.
Drain the pasta and add it to the creamy sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
Serve the pasta topped with the baked herb-crusted chicken. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
