Hawaiian Macaroni Salad

  • 0.5 pound Elbow Macaroni
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup Crushed Pineapple drained
  • 0.5 cup Diced Celery
  • 0.25 cup Diced Onion red or yellow
  • 2 tablespoons Sweet Pickle Relish
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  • In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, crushed pineapple, diced celery, diced onion, sweet pickle relish, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the cooked and drained macaroni to the bowl and toss gently to coat evenly.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can add a hard-boiled egg, chopped.
