Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry
Delicious and easy ham and cheese puff pastry pockets, perfect for a quick snack or appetizer.

thawed

cooked ham
thinly sliced

shredded, such as cheddar or Swiss

egg
beaten, for egg wash
Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the thawed puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface. Cut it into 8 equal rectangles.

Place a slice or two of ham and a tablespoon of shredded cheese on one half of each puff pastry rectangle.

Fold the other half of the puff pastry over the filling to create a pocket. Crimp the edges with a fork to seal.

Brush the tops of the pastries with the beaten egg wash.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
These can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving. Adjust baking time based on your oven.
