These spooky Halloween spider cookies are fun to make and even more fun to eat! Simple sugar cookies are decorated with melted chocolate and candy eyes to create creepy crawlies.

Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
Let cool completely on baking sheets.
Once cool, drizzle melted chocolate over cookies in spider leg patterns.
Add candy eyeballs.

These cookies are best served fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
