Preparation Steps
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
Add the onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the garlic powder, diced tomatoes, and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the flavors have melded.
Notes
