  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Preparation Steps

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the orzo, diced tomatoes (with their juice), heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20-25 minutes or until the orzo is tender.
