Grasshopper Pie

This Grasshopper Pie is a delicious minty dessert perfect for special occasions or any gathering.

  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs about 12 full sheets
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 0.25 cup creme de menthe green
  • 0.25 cup creme de cacao white
  • 1 package marshmallows about 10 oz

Preparation Steps

  • In a bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture into a 9-inch pie pan.
  • In a saucepan, melt marshmallows over low heat. Once melted, mix in creme de menthe and creme de cacao. Let it cool.
  • Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold the whipped cream into the cooled marshmallow mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared crust. Refrigerate until set, at least 4 hours.

Notes

This pie can be garnished with chocolate shavings or additional whipped cream.
