gluten-free cinnamon rolls

Delicious gluten-free cinnamon rolls, perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat. Easy to make and incredibly flavorful.

  • 1 cup warm water 105-115°F
  • 2.25 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and 2 tablespoons sugar. Let stand for 5 minutes until foamy.
  • Add salt, gluten-free flour, and milk to the yeast mixture. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, turning to coat. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Notes

These rolls are best served fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
