Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour plus more for rolling
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Whisk flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves.
Beat butter and sugar, then mix in molasses, egg, and vanilla.
Mix in dry ingredients, divide, wrap, and chill 45 minutes.
