  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs lightly beaten

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, baking soda, and salt.
  • Stir in the melted butter and molasses until well combined.
  • Add eggs and mix until the batter is smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
