Garlic Butter Tortellini

A quick and easy garlic butter tortellini recipe that's perfect for a weeknight meal. Loaded with cheese and flavor!

  • 1 package Refrigerated Cheese Tortellini
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup Heavy Cream
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 0.25 cup Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste

Preparation Steps

  • Cook the tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • While the tortellini is cooking, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in the fresh parsley.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Optional: Top with extra Parmesan cheese or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
