1.5poundsSteakSirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
4tablespoonsButter
4clovesGarlicMinced
0.5teaspoonSalt
0.25teaspoonBlack Pepper
2tablespoonsOlive Oil
1tablespoonFresh ParsleyChopped, for garnish
Instructions
Preparation Steps
Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Add the steak cubes to the hot skillet in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if necessary. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side, until browned but still rare inside.
Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
Reduce the heat to medium. Add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Return the steak bites to the skillet. Toss them in the garlic butter to coat. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve immediately. These steak bites are fantastic on their own, or as a topping for salads or as an appetizer with toothpicks.
