Instructions
Preparation Steps
Gather all ingredients and measure them in advance.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cooking Steps
In a large pan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add shrimp to the pan and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
Pour wine into the pan and increase the heat to medium-high. Let it simmer until reduced by half, about 5 minutes.
Reduce heat to low and add remaining butter, allowing it to melt. Add cherry tomatoes and basil, cooking for another 2 minutes.
Return shrimp to the pan, along with cooked spaghetti. Toss to combine and heat through.
Stir in Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
Notes
For an extra kick, sprinkle red pepper flakes over the finished dish.
