  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup diced onions
  • 0.25 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough (16 oz)
  • 1 egg beaten egg
  • 1 tbsp water

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Add onions and bell pepper; cook until softened. Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheese.
  • Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Place a spoonful of meat mixture on each triangle, then fold the dough over and press edges to seal, forming crescents.
  • Place crescents on prepared baking sheet. Whisk together egg and water; brush over the tops of the crescents.
  • Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Serve warm.
