Frito Candy Recipe

  • 2.5 cups crushed corn chips
  • 1 cup sugar (granulated)
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup peanut butter (creamy)
  • 6 oz chocolate chips

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine the crushed corn chips and set aside.
  • In a saucepan, mix sugar and corn syrup. Bring to a boil and cook until sugar is dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Pour over corn chips and mix well.
  • Press the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
  • Melt chocolate chips and spread over the top. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
