Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Caramelize onions in a pan over medium heat until golden brown.
Layer half of the potatoes in a baking dish, top with half the caramelized onions and grated cheese.
Repeat the layers, pour cream over the top.
Bake for 60 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Notes
This dish pairs wonderfully with a crisp green salad.
