Festive Moroccan Spiced Coffee: The Perfect Holiday Brew
This festive Moroccan-inspired coffee drink combines the rich flavors of rum and coffee with warm spices, making it the perfect cozy beverage for holiday celebrations!
Rim two 10-12 oz mugs with colored sugar by moistening the rim and dipping it into the sugar.
Divide the dark rum between the two mugs. Carefully light the rum with a long match or lighter to caramelize some sugars. Add a sprinkle of nutmeg to each.
Blow out the flame after about 20 seconds.
Pour the hot brewed coffee into each mug, followed by the Irish cream liqueur, coffee liqueur, and peppermint schnapps.
Ensure the drink is warm enough; microwave for 20-30 seconds if needed.
Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon and remaining nutmeg.
