Ingredients
- 1 sheet refrigerated pizza dough rolled out
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce plus more for serving
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella divided
- 1/2 cup mini pepperoni or chopped pepperoni
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon melted butter for brushing
Instructions
Heat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
Unroll the dough into an even rectangle and spread pizza sauce over it, leaving a narrow edge.
Scatter mozzarella, pepperoni, and Italian seasoning evenly over the sauce.
Roll the dough tightly from a long side into a log. Chill it for 10 minutes if it feels soft, then slice into 24 rounds.
Arrange rounds cut-side up with space between them, brush lightly with butter, and bake 12 to 15 minutes until puffed and golden.
Cool for a few minutes and serve warm with extra pizza sauce.
Keep the filling in a thin, even layer so the spiral holds together.
