Easy Hot Pepper Jelly for Appetizers
Make hot pepper jelly with sweet peppers, jalapeños, vinegar, sugar, and pectin for a bright homemade spread.

Ingredients
- 1 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
- 1 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
- 1/3 cup finely chopped jalapeño pepper
- 1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar
- 6 cups granulated sugar
- 3 ounces liquid fruit pectin
Instructions
Sterilize six half-pint jars and keep them warm.
Combine the peppers, vinegar, and sugar in a large saucepan.
Bring to a full rolling boil over high heat, stirring constantly.
Stir in the liquid pectin and boil hard for 1 minute.
Remove from heat, skim any foam, and ladle into hot jars leaving 1/4 inch headspace.
Process using current safe water-bath canning guidance for your altitude, or refrigerate the cooled jelly for short-term storage.
