Easy Banana Bread Recipe

This quick and easy banana bread is moist and delicious, with loads of banana flavor. It's wonderful toasted!

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 1 large egg beaten

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix the butter into the mashed bananas.
    1 tsp baking soda, 1 cup sugar
  • Add in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract and mix well.
    1.5 cups all-purpose flour, 0.5 cup butter
  • Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in.
    3 ripe bananas
  • Add the flour last, mix just until combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Notes

This banana bread makes for a great breakfast or snack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
