Main Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked long-grain rice
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 0.5 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
Preparation Steps
Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
Add onion and green bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in rice, chicken broth, and thyme. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until rice is cooked through.
