Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Flatten a scoop of cookie dough into a disc on your palm.
Place a brownie square in the center of the dough disc, then fold the dough around the brownie, sealing it completely.
Repeat with remaining dough and brownie squares.
Place the stuffed cookies on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake for 10 minutes, then sprinkle chocolate chips on top if desired.
Continue baking for another 10 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle sea salt on top if using. Allow cookies to cool slightly before serving.
