Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings

This slow cooker chicken and dumplings recipe is a hearty and comforting dish perfect for a cozy dinner with minimal effort.

  • 1.5 pounds chicken breasts Boneless, skinless
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz can
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 tube refrigerated biscuit dough 7.5 oz tube, cut into quarters

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.
  • Pour chicken broth and cream of chicken soup over the chicken.
  • Add in frozen mixed vegetables.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
  • Remove chicken and shred with two forks. Return chicken to crock pot.
  • Add biscuit dough pieces and stir gently. Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes, or until biscuits are cooked through.

Notes

Ensure biscuits are fully cooked by checking the center of one dumpling.
