- 4 cups apples, peeled and sliced Use any tart variety, like Granny Smith.
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
Preparation Steps
- Grease the crock pot with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and cinnamon.
- Place a layer of apples at the bottom of the crock pot. Sprinkle with the dry mixture.
- Continue layering until all the ingredients are used.
- Cover and cook on low for 3 hours, until apples are tender and cake is set.
Notes
Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top.
