Ingredients
  

For the Salmon:

  • 1 lb salmon fillet skinless, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch for crispiness
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for pan-frying

For the Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha optional, for heat
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil optional, for extra flavor

Garnish (Optional):

  • Sesame seeds
  • Green onions sliced

Instructions
 

Prep the Salmon:

  • Pat salmon cubes dry with a paper towel.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss salmon with soy sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and cornstarch until evenly coated.

Cook the Salmon:

    Pan-Fry Method:

    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add salmon cubes in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Remove and set aside.

    Air Fryer Method:

    • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
    • Spray basket with oil and add salmon cubes in a single layer.
    • Air fry for 7-9 minutes, shaking halfway through, until crispy.

    Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:

    • In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
    • Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
    • Stir in honey, soy sauce, sriracha (if using), lemon juice, and sesame oil. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.

    Coat the Salmon:

    • Pour the sauce over the cooked salmon bites and gently toss to coat.
    • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
