Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, rice, chicken broth, cream of mushroom soup, milk, peas, salt, and pepper.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top.
Bake for 30-45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use heavy cream instead of milk. You can also add other vegetables, such as carrots or celery.
