  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast cubed
  • 1 cup white rice uncooked
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large baking dish, combine rice and chicken broth.
  • Add chicken cubes on top of the rice mixture.
  • Pour heavy cream over the chicken, then sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  • Remove foil, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
