  • 1.5 cups chicken breast cooked and shredded
  • 4 slices bacon cooked and chopped
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup carrots sliced
  • 1 cup peas frozen
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Preparation Steps

  • In a large pot, combine chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.
  • Add carrots and cook for 5 minutes, until slightly tender.
  • Stir in peas, chicken, bacon, and noodles. Cook until noodles are soft, about 10 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes

For an extra creamy texture, add an additional half cup of heavy cream.
